Refund and cancellation policy

How Digital Sunset LLC handles refunds and cancellations for custom software development engagements.

Digital Sunset LLC provides custom software development services. Because work is tailored to each client, refunds and cancellations are handled as follows.

Project deposits

Initial project deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced. Deposits secure our availability and cover initial discovery, planning, and resource allocation.

Milestone-based payments

Payments tied to specific project milestones are non-refundable once the corresponding milestone has been delivered and approved by the client.

Subscription / retainer services

Ongoing subscription or retainer services may be cancelled at any time with 30 days' written notice. Charges already incurred for the current billing period are non-refundable.

Cancellation before work begins

If a project is cancelled before work has commenced and within 7 days of initial payment, a full refund may be issued at our discretion.

Dispute resolution

If you believe a refund is warranted under unique circumstances, contact us at [email protected] to discuss. We aim to resolve disputes fairly and promptly.

Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback without first contacting us to resolve the issue, we reserve the right to dispute the chargeback and pursue recovery of fees and damages.
